Coast Guard Day, Brian Piccolo Park, Pembroke Pines, Florida - Coast Guard Day was celebrated on August 3, at Brian Piccolo Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The 217th birthday of the Coast Guard was a relaxing one filled with activities for the more than eight hundred coasties, auxiliarists and family members who attended.

U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle - On Friday, July 27, the U. S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle made her grand entry into the Port of Miami, with City, County, Local Law Enforcement, DHS, Coast Guard and 10 Auxiliary boats as escorts.

Division 12's Newest Recruit - USCG Captain John E. Cameron, received his Certificate of Retirement, and was inducted into East Cooper Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12-6 (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) eager to continue his service as its newest volunteer.

Division 6 Picnic and Awards Ceremony - In addition to the 2nd annual Division 6 fellowship picnic, we had the honor of celebrating anniversaries of 4 of our Flotillas.  Flotilla 63 and 67 received awards for 50 years of service and 6-10 and 6-11 celebrated 65 and 66 years, respectively.

District 7, 2007 ISAR Competition - On May 19 Division 9 and Flotilla 98 hosted the 2007 7th District International Search and Rescue competition at the Best Western in Punta Gorda.  Four person teams from throughout the District competed for the right to represent the U.S. in competition with the best of the Canadian Coast Guard for the trophy in Toronto this coming September.
